The Hercules Beetle earns its name — the strongest insect alive, rebuilt in olive armor and brass gearwork with the great curved horn reaching out over its head. The honeycomb-textured shell lifts to reveal the mechanism underneath, every leg articulates into a crawling stance, and the linked gears rotate in plain view. 939 pieces on its own display stand. Add the optional dynamic pack and it crawls forward under remote control, exactly as slowly and deliberately as the real thing.
